Learning Objectives:

This course is designed to help your heart team apply the latest evidence-based practices in the management of Impella® devices. Participants will collaborate with a single-center heart team of experts from various specialties to optimize mechanical circulatory support patient outcomes using the latest data, guidelines and best practices.

The course targets an interdisciplinary team of 5-6 healthcare professionals who are directly involved in advanced cardiovascular care. Team members may include a mix of champions including interventional cardiologists, heart failure cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, nurse practitioners and physician assistants managing patients undergoing procedures with Impella® devices, cardiac critical care specialists working in the ICU to care for patients who have undergone Impella® implantation, and decision makers/administrators responsible for the procurement and adoption of new therapies.
