Learning Objectives:

• Increased understanding of cardiogenic shock as a disease state
• Identification of the various forms of shock and the differences in symptomatology
• SCAI shock staging
• Utilization of a pulmonary artery catheter and identification of the hemodynamic profile of a patient in cardiogenic shock
• Identification of the most appropriate escalation pathway for patients who require advanced support in cardiogenic shock
• Take-aways from the DanGer Shock trial

This event is intended for members of the care team responsible for identifying and treating patients who present in cardiogenic shock. Including but not limited to: Registered Nurses from Emergency Medicine, Cath Lab, Telemetry/Stepdown, and Critical Care units, Radiology techs, Program directors, Nurse Educators, and Pre-hospital providers.
