This course features expert faculty presentations and hands-on learning sessions on Impella 5.5® with SmartAssist®, heart team decision-making, escalation, ECpella axillary and direct placement best practices. There will be hands-on sessions on axillary insertion technique, direct insertion technique, Impella RP® insertion technique, overview of SmartAssist and advanced metrics.

For the heart failure audience, the topics will include patient management, patient scenarios and troubleshooting and SmartAssist technology review.
