One-and-a-half-day small group hospital-based course designed to improve knowledge base around high-risk cardiothoracic procedures. By the end of the course, participants should be able to:

• Assess the appropriate MCS cardiac assist or cardiac replacement action in the given situation
• Generalize patterns within cath lab high-risk cases
• Develop strategies concerning timing the use of MCS for a given case
• Improve understanding of the safe and effective use of Impella® portfolio of products
