This program is designed for the clinician to increase their knowledge and clinical acumen in recognizing and escalating care for patients at risk for right ventricular failure.

Objectives:

1. Identify and contrast the clinical criteria and etiology of cardiogenic shock and right ventricular failure.
2. Define right ventricular failure and right ventricular dysfunction.
3. Discuss the clinician's role in identifying right ventricular dysfunction.
4. Identify strategies for patient escalation and management of right ventricular dysfunction.
