This series of courses reviews the clinical evidence pathway to a Class I recommendation in AMI Cardiogenic Shock. Data reviewed includes NCSI and SWG updates, best practices from the Inova experience, best practices from IQ and CVAD registries, and an update on Impella 5.5 outcomes. The science of ECpella is also reviewed, demonstrating how the Impella technology optimizes unloading during the use of ECMO.
