Seth Bilazarian, MD, and panelists Navin Kapur, MD, Raj Tayal, MD, and Amir Kaki, MD, review four live CAMP PCI cases and discuss lessons learned in those cases. In the first case, the panelists discuss strategies for anticipating and minimizing operator fatigue in complex PCI cases. In the second case, they discuss strategies for optimizing safety in patients who come to the cath lab with hemodynamic embarrassments stabilized with Impella®. The third topic is evaluation and treatment recommendations for achieving hemodynamic stability in patients with decompensation in the cath lab while on Impella support, and the final topic is suggestions for vascular closure following Impella removal.
