Helge Alexy, MD, an interventional cardiologist in Bremen, Germany, presents the case of an active 94-year-old male he chose to treat with Protected PCI. In addition to his age, the patient had an ejection fraction of 35%, left main stenosis, severe 3-vessel disease, symptomatic acute coronary syndrome and beginning stages of cardiogenic shock.
