Dr. Cevasco discusses using Impella 5.5 with SmartAssist for high-risk cardiac surgery in patients at risk for low cardiac output syndrome (LCOS). She presents a case study in which she utilized Impella 5.5 following coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery.
